Dedication
When I was a little brat taking piano lessons, it was still back in the days when it was called ĽŠU and not ZUŠ. I was taught by Mrs. Drhová, a proper woman in her place. And when I had eight grueling years of music school behind me, filled mainly with J.S. Bach, and my graduation concert, or whatever it was called back then, I would sometimes run into her on my way to the train station when I was a high school student studying at the technical college in Žilina... She knew about my love of music, especially from how I used to play all the songs by Elán, Olympik, and Varga... and she always asked me, "Are you still not playing in any band?" because she was a native of Moravia.
And I didn't play. Because synthesizers were very expensive back then. And so I didn't get to realize my musical ideas until I was older, when I bought synthesizers, a computer, and a bunch of other necessary things. So, after all these years, I dedicate these compositions in the Score section to her. I know that even though she is no longer with us, they will surely find their way to her and make her happy, just as they made me happy when I was creating them.
